Did you really have to start a new blog? Or just use a different username to post? I think the photo limit is by username not blog, unless they've changed things. When you create a new username and add yourself as an author, you can still add photos on your old blog. At least that's how it used to work.
hmmm i'm not sure... i am a bit technically challenged. But when i would try to upload pics, it wouldn't let me and tell me i had to upgrade for more storage.
